I can’t rate the rooms as we did not stay here. We did eat here a few times and the food was good. We wanted an authentic English ‘pub’ and this had that feel. While it is close to a major tourist area, there appeared to be a fair amount of locals dropping by for a pint after work. Welcoming atmosphere with an adequate beer selection. After all, who visits England and doesn’t get a pint if they are the sort who enjoys an occasional tipple. We stopped here more than once, so that says it all.

There were 4 of us and we ordered Sunday roast and extra yorkshires, if you look at the pictures you might notice something odd. 1 bone marrow among 4 people? Fine, the portions were good but not tasty. The pork skin wasn't done well, the flavour was mild. The beef was tough, the lamb was okay. Had booking 1230, we were second i think. We ordered our food after 5ish minutes and waited around 30minutes.. remind u we had a 2hr slot. The waiter asked which drinks we wanted and then was super quick with drinks. But with 5/6 waiters it was hard to get their attention for assistance. 15% on bill Food 3/5 Service 4/5 Price 2/5

Wedding party here last Saturday. Absolutely brilliant venue. Great atmosphere, perfect room. Food was excellent and plenty of it, even down to the hot chocolate cookie and ice cream especially for my grandson. Drinks flowed freely and the service was superb. Staff catered to everyone's requests with a smile. My daughter and now husband had a beautiful wedding and the after party at this venue gave them a complete day to remember. Big thanks to all staff and would highly recommend this venue.
