Really glad we settled on Lost Property for our weekend break away from the kids. lovely decor and ambience throughout- including a swanky restaurant/bar and well furnished and maintained rooms. Bathroom was lovely with a great rainfall shower. Cafe by reception was cute and well made coffees also. We got room service at night and had a lovely cheesecake and honestly the best damn cappuccino I've ever had. Didn't make use of the gym but definitely will next time, as we'd certainly stay again. We got upgraded after being 'Guests of the day' which really added to the experience. Breakfast was really well done, a classic buffet with hot options and continental, but felt elevated from your basic hotel breakfasts. the ONLY thing I'd say could've been better, was more little milk cartoons in the room with the coffee & teas. We only got 2 which was enough for 1 drink. could do with 5 or 6 for 2 guests.

The thing that matters the most when traveling are the rooms. Getting tired of “the rooms are smaller in Europe”. In a big city like London, that should not be the case. Our room could double as a coffin. If you are traveling from overseas with lots of luggage, there is no place to put anything. There are no drawers and one tiny little closet. In an already tiny space, they chose to put a table and two chairs at the foot of the bed. Not well planned and something much more functional could have been used. Is the hotel itself lovely? Yes, it is. Everything in it is very nice looking. It’s in a great location and would be perfect for perhaps a business traveler with a small bag. If you are on holiday however, find someplace else and make sure you know the square footage of the room before you book.

The location is outstanding. You are in the middle of three different lines which works out well for exploring London. The room was a king bed but there was no view. Not a bad view, as in the window was frosted over and you couldn't see anything. Bathroom was small and justy personal preference but not a fan of the open shower. Bed was a little hard for my taste. Credit does go out to the staff who offered me an upgrade mid way through my stay but we turned out it down as we already unpacked. I am a diamond member and was kind of shocked I didn't get an upgrade to begin with but that's becoming fewer. It's by no means a bad hotel, it is adequate. Breakfast was also adequate
