Perched atop the 36th floor of Sky Garden, Darwin Brasserie serve modern British classics.

The newly constructed Sky Garden contains three beautifully landscaped public gardens and is now host to Darwin Brasserie, a contemporary and elegant restaurant with stunning views of the cityscape.

A sweeping bar wraps around the modern furnishings, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a breath-taking view. Its understated charm makes it the perfect hangout spot for a lavish Brunch, though it retains the high-quality feel of a fine-dining restaurant with sparkling glassware, a muted colour palette and welcoming staff.

Breakfast at Darwin Brasserie is a luxurious experience. Start off with a smoothie or juice and something for the table - from a muffin basket to charcuterie and cheese. With signature Breakfast classics or a variety of eggs, guests can also opt for something sweet such as a buttermilk pancake stack with caramelised banana, nutella and roasted hazenuts. Why not treat yourself to a cocktail with Breakfast for an extra special experience.

The Weekend Brunch menu offers a choice of main courses, including roast sirloin of Hereford beef and Yorkshire pudding, or gorgonzola gnocchi with walnuts and pear. With a range of starters and desserts to choose from, and an extensive wine list, this is a truly indulgent experience.

Sky Garden is close to Monument Station and easily accessible due to its central location, though the Thames is a short walk away for a post-Brunch stroll before you leave.

Wow, the location and view from sky garden is amazing. The Darwin Brasserie itself is a level higher and if you have a window seat you get nice view but it costs extra and you cannot book for more than 5 people. Anyway, we had breakfast there and the food was amazing, nice menus and so tasty. The waiters were lovely and very nice and the venue was very busy (for 9am) so the atmosphere was really good. If you are in London and fancy breakfast with a view I would definitely recommend. After breakfast we strolled around the sky garden and took some nice photos.

Certainly a 10/10 for the experience - amazing views and something really different. The service was attentive and the staff friendly. The food wasn’t particularly special and it’s quite expensive so not great value for money. But as a package it just about makes sense and is something that you’ll remember for a long time.

If you are expecting a high-end dining experience, you will be disappointed. Both the food and the service are average, and there is nothing particularly outstanding about this restaurant. Even the view, despite the “best” window seats, is underwhelming because you are seated too far from the outer windows to enjoy. During my visit, the draft beer machine was not working, so bottled beer was the only option. I recommend having a drink on the thirty-fifth floor to enjoy the atmosphere and then dining elsewhere.
