    Great service, the whole team were attentive and knowledgeable. They created a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Duechars was on and tasting great, been years since I last had a pint of it so was always going to be five stars just for that 🤣 Food came promptly and was very tasty. Great portion sizes. The haggis spring rolls were great, just a hint of curry gave it an edge and a slight kick. One of the party was dairy intolerant and they were happy to leave the cheese off the pizza. Pizza's were fresh and the base was really well cooked, no soggy bottoms there. I would thoroughly recommend the Charwood.

    When I first went in the restaurant they ignored me for a while (probably that's because I'm young and assumed I couldn't pay) but otherwise I liked the food and that's what we are here for right? Yes. In total it was £35.40, it was expensive then I thought but it's not the end of the world. I really liked the decorations, it was quite pretty.

    We had a lovely table at the window looking out to the garden/deck. Menu was good & food/drinks good.. poor portion of chips on the 2 dishes that had them. drinks menu wasn’t up to date as it only gave 1 rose wine but when asked they had another one to offer. Desert menu was our favourite.. the ice-cream Sundays were excellent.
