Old Bicycle Shop is a small restaurant situated on Regent Street who are experts in all things Brunch, with a selection of healthy and not-so-healthy dishes.

Serving Brunch until 3pm every day, Old Bicycle Shop has most certainly filled the Brunch shaped hole in the Cambridge foodie market. Originally the countries oldest bicycle shop, (who is rumoured to have once had Charles Darwin a loyal customer), it has now been given a new lease of life and been transformed into a bar and restaurant celebrating the history through its rustic interior.

Inside the Old Bicycle Shop, the decor is all vintage up-cycled furnishings, with antler trophies made from handlebars and saddles cleverly disguised as wall art, as a way to pay homage to its roots.

All the food at The Old Bicycle Shop is locally sourced and fresh, with plenty of choices for vegetarians and vegans alike. Don't just expect basic Brunch dishes, however. One of their specialities is the American pancakes, with pear, apple & ginger compote & coconut yoghurt, and another is their croque monsieur!  The Old Bicycle Shop also have an extensive drinks menu, with plenty of cocktails, gins, beers and soft drinks to choose from.

Located in the heart of Cambridge, The Old Bicycle Shop is just a short distance from Cambridge Station.

Surprisingly Good Trying to review different restaurants therefore entered this restaurant. The menu was quite limited, but nothing wrong to focus on things that you are good at. The food portions were very generous. I was impressed that the side had a variety of stuff inside. The side made the food more colourful and interesting. Not just some boring iceberg lettuce as a side salad like Honest Burgers does. The main was generous in portions too. The flatbread was heavily loaded with trunks of juicy meat. It was a nice restaurant with a reasonable price. With good service and good environment.

Ordered the steak & egg and it comes with decent amount of fries and salad. The steak had a bit more fat portion but well cooked. Spacious dining area with skylight.

We had a great dinner at the Old Bicycle shop last week. Our waiter recommended the lamb kabob and it was delicious. My partner enjoyed the ribeye. All the staff were very helpful and attentive. The mulled wine made the evening complete. I would recommend to anyone staying in the area or wanting to avoid the downtown crowds.
